When death came to visit, Jim said:
Get off my lawn.
Jim was your average guy - not much of a drinker, never into drugs. He might eat more than one donut, but doesn’t everyone?
So it came as quite a surprise to him when he was told his liver was completely shot and that he would need a transplant.
Have you ever heard of “fatty liver?” Millions of people have it. For all, it’s a wakeup call to make healthier choices. For some, the condition can become life threatening. That’s what happened to Jim. Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) damaged his liver. This scarring led to cirrhosis. Which made him need a liver transplant. Now imagine all of this happening in less than 10 months.
